An avid reader who is also a compulsive writer...
An avid reader who is also a compulsive writer, a thought leader who often shares
her views at public forums,a principled follower of the Bhagavad Gita and the values
it embodies,a keen observer of people, always connecting with, learning and evolving
from the environment around her-there are many dimensions and facets to the interests
and passions of Gunjan Jain.
With an academic record spread across five countries and three continents, Gunjan
has been privileged to have had several worlds open up fairly early. She is a graduate
from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (USA) in Economics and Finance,
and has earned her Master’s in Wealth Management from the Cass Business School,
City University (UK).
Gunjan also holds a Diploma in Image Management from the London Image Institute
as well as the Academy of Image Mastery in Singapore. She has received a Diploma
in International Etiquette and protocol from the Institut Villa Pierrefeu in Switzerland.
She also holds a Master Practitioners degree in neuro-linguistic programming from
the Society of NLP (USA), making her one among very few Indians to receive such
accreditation. Gunjan is currently enrolled in the general management programme
of the Harvard Business School, Boston. Her debut book, She Walks, She Leads, is
an authorised anthology of twenty-four accomplished Indian women from varied fields,
from business and media to entertainment to arts and sports. Nita Ambani is one
of the prominent personalities featured in the book along with other luminaries
such as Parmeshwar Godrej, Sudha Murthy, Indra Nooyi, Chanda Kochhar, Zia Mody,
Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Priyanka Chopra, Mira Nair, Shobhana Bhartia, Indu Jain, Anamika
Khanna, Saina Nehwal and Mary Kom.
The book bears testament to the ways in which women in different fields become thought
leaders, learn from each other's experiences, insights and wisdom, and go on to
scale new heights and create a much larger impact on the world around them. Capturing
a panoramic range of insights and sensibilities through their stories, each personality
shares her personal journey like never before. Each story is based on extensive
interviews with these extraordinary women and enriched with the views of their family,
friends, and professional associates including including Mukesh Ambani, Kumar Mangalam
Birla, Azim Premji, Adi Godrej, KV Kamath, N R Narayana Murthy, Ajay Piramal, Sanjiv
Goenka, Shah Rukh Khan and Sachin Tendulkar.
Gunjan’s core values of knowledge, equality and empowerment are very much in line
with Baker Tilly’s values of integrity, passion and stewardship. Through her association
with Baker Tilly as their brand ambassador in India, Gunjan hopes to work with the
youth and women of India, to create a more equitable society and helping people
